All orders are hand poured and made to order. Shipping costs are based on weight and automatically calculated during checkout.  Orders are shipped within 4 business days of purchase using USPS Priority or First Class Mail Service. Orders are individually packaged with care and should arrive within 3-5 business days of shipping. Clients will receive a notification when an order is shipped.

You may exchange your unused product for another product of equal or lesser value within 14 days of purchase; buyer is responsible for all shipping costs.

Used candles cannot be returned and all custom orders are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

In the event your order is damaged during shipping, we will ship replacement products(s) within 4 business days after receiving photographic proof of the damage. Photos must be submitted to [email protected] within 7 days of delivery.​

We keep our candles as natural as possible. Soy wax with no additives or colors, cotton fiber wicks and fragrance/essential oils

Soy wax is derived from soybeans which means our candles are crafted from sustainable and renewable resources. In addition, soy wax burns cleaner with no carbon soot, as compared to other candles waxes such as paraffin. Soy wax also burns slower and holds much more fragrance oils; therefore, you have a candle that lasts much longer and smells better.

Direct sunlight or florescent lighting can cause white or off-white soy candles to turn yellow over time. Some fragrance oils have vanilla content which can also darken candle wax over time with oxidation. However, color changes have no impact on candle performance or fragrance.

Tunneling occurs when the wax does not melt evenly leaving significant wax residue on the sides of the candle jar. Candles have memory, referred to as Wax Memory. The 1st time you burn your candle, it should remain lit for at least 4 hours. This will ensure the candle creates a melt pool that extends completely to the side of the jar. When the initial melt pool doesn't reach the side of the jar, subsequent burns will only go as far as the initial melt pool and cause tunneling. 

Our 10 oz candles have a 50-55 hour burn time. Our 20 oz Candles have a 100-105 hour burn time.

Follow these simple instructions to prolong the life of your Scent City Candle:

• Always trim wick to 1/4" before each burn
• Burn Candles no more than 4 or 5 hours at a time
